Portals
A Portal is a live connector bound to your wallet — a stream from a substrate or external service. Each portal has its own health, metrics, and node flowchart. Three QPU backends are individually selectable (IBM · Origin Wukong · Osaka ion-trap). Connect a wallet for live USDC settlement on Base; otherwise everything runs in demo mode (no funds move).

Routing across your portals
Every active portal is a node in the MetaState routing mesh. The diagram below shows how your portals connect through the optimizer to substrates and settlement. CHAINSTATE-direct portals (if any) bypass the MetaState hop and go straight from the edge worker to the metastate-quantum /chainstate/route endpoint.
