Write once. The MetaState optimizer routes each operation to the best substrate and settles in USDC. Quantum dispatch now spans three real backends — IBM (US, superconducting), Origin Wukong (China, superconducting), and Osaka University (Japan, ion-trap). The pipeline, step by step:
METASTATE-mediated
Normal (non-CHAINSTATE) users dispatch anomaly checks, symbolic regressions, and process-matrix evaluations through the MetaState substrate. MetaState re-verifies the result before it becomes a signed Proof of Inference, then settles in USDC on Base. Any of the three QPUs — IBM, Origin, Osaka — is selectable.

Only the CHAINSTATE edge worker can dispatch its own self-referential compute — theory-of-mind loop, ontological delta ledger, Iida AOM/PIM memory tick, swarm-coupling free-energy — to the QPUs without a MetaState hop. Gated by a second shared secret and Cardiac capability.qpu.route credentials. All three QPUs are reachable this way too.
